There is one tone in particular that I would get from Kazrogs superlead. You can blend n different amounts from each cab to get some really amazing tones. It also gives you the option to load two different cab IRs that will be blended into one signal. Which is fine, because if you go with Kazrog, they hook it up with a second plugin that you add right after the amp plugin and it lets you load whatever IRs you have. Kazrog amp sims require you to use your own IRs. Using your own virtual cabinets will get you very far it's truly unbelievable how great this stuff sounds. If you're going to stick with amp sims, I would just say you should look into a cabinet IR loader. If they can compete with the kemper, then I bet the kemper will become more affordable. Who knows, maybe more profilers and amp modelers will come out soon. I almost never change the presets that his profiles come with becacuse they all sound great the moment you load them up. I discovered an online vendor who sells top notch kemper profiles, and so that's all I ever use.

I don't even know how to use most of it's functions. Some people get crazy into the whole kemper thing. I would just ist around tweaking knobs for hours on end haha. I was a plugin hoarder that would rarely produce very much music at the end of the day. Trust me, I used to say the same thing haha. Amp sims feel like plugins for children once you have this thing. If you don't have the funds, try to get a good deal on a loan through affirm or a line of credit with sweetwater or something. My employer had to protect his reputation because it would have ruined his company if people found out that he told 30% of his employees to get fucked while there was a global pandemic happening, so we worked out a very generous severance agreement which was way more than enough to cover my kemper. I was lucky that I got laid off due to covid. You will probably end up spending at least 50-75% of what a Kemper will cost if you invest money in high quality amp sims after a few years. The apollo is more important overall, but the kemper is an essential for me when it comes to guitar and bass.

If I am dead set on getting the best sounding guitar without actually having to mic up an amp, why am I spending so much money on amp sims over the years when I could just make one last investment that will probably keep me happy for at least another 10 years? And I thought about how within a few years, I will probably spend just as much on amp sims, since I am sure more and more would just keep getting released. When I got my apollo, I was stoked when I did a trial of the superlead and the JMP2203. It was also very nice to not have to print the amp sim's processing when recordng my track back when I really didn't have a clue how to record every instrument so that they will compliment one another with little to no additional processing during mixdown. Kazrog had some of my favorites that I would use with various IR cabinets that I got from all sorts of places, and I would get some very realistic and great tones.

Full disclosure- softube VSTs are nearly just as expensive. They also have a bluesbreaker, silver jubilee, and like a kerry king signature amp. I think these are all the same amp? I swear Marshall is the worst at naming their gear.anyways, softube has a VST of this too. The only Marshall I like better is the JMP/2203/ JCM800/ whatever the hell it's called. Softube also offers even more Marshalls, if the superlead or whatever is not your thing. I am 99% sure that softube sells VST versions of the marshall amp sims. Now that I think of it, the majority of those amp sims were made in collaboration with softube.
